Today, the salon is owned and managed by Nadia, a highly skilled stylist with over 26 years of experience in the industry, alongside an expert team of award-winning stylists.

Salon Director

Nadia, a passionate hairstylist with over 26 years of experience, owns Robert Douglas Hair Workshop. She’s dedicated to her craft with many qualifications under her belt and enjoys equestrian sports, running, and golf.

Amie

Senior Designer

Amie joined Robert Douglas in 2018 and specializes in blonde hair and balayage. She enjoys socialising and Disney movies.

Teri

HEAD Designer

Teri joined Robert Douglas in 2009 and has developed a true passion for hairdressing. She’s a devoted mother and animal lover with two sons, two dogs, and past pets like a bearded dragon and a hedgehog.

Dee, our recently qualified hairstylist has adored hairdressing ever since she was a little girl and is honoured to now be able to officially offer her talents.  Dee loves cows, pubs, savory food (anything that involves cheese), and autumn.

Skyla

Part Time Apprentice

Skyla, a part-time student, works at Robert Douglas on Saturdays. She hopes to become a fully-fledged hairdresser in the future and enjoys her current role of cleaning, washing hair, and giving head massages. Her interest in hairdressing began as a child when her aunt did her hair.

Itsy - Security

Itsy

Team Mascot

Itsy, the salon mascot, watches out of the window and greets clients with a wagging tail whilst hiding under one of the stylists’ coats. She loves food, sleep, squirrels, and her luxurious lifestyle of smoked salmon Saturdays and Thursday sleepover nights at Amie’s.
